My aim is to provide a friendly and reliable service to people in the local community, whilst also trying to minimise my impact on the environment and break the unfair stereotype of dogs being seen as a burden on wild spaces.
I pride myself on running a business that is committed to taking the best care of both dog and human clients. I will always treat your dog as if they were my own and their safety and welfare will always be my top priority.

Chloe
Business owner
Hi I’m Chloe, and I am the sole business owner of Paws in the Pines. Having spent my whole life living within the New Forest National Park, I have always loved being outdoors, surrounded by animals and wildlife. I completed my degree in Ecology & Conservation and entered the Ecology sector. However, I quickly realised I was missing something in my life and that was dogs, so I set up Paws in the Pines in January 2023 and it has been the best decision ever!!

Lake
Chief Trail Officer
Lake is my Romanian rescue dog who we adopted in 2020. We are joined at the hip, so you will often see her accompanying us on our group walks. She absolutely loves getting to see her best friends everyday.
-
Arlo
Chief Treat Officer
My best boy Arlo is also a rescue. He is entering his senior years, so he doesn’t always join on our more energetic groups. But he loves to have a gentle stroll with some of the smaller members of our gang.
I cover the following areas: Copythorne, Cadnam, Minstead, Woodlands, Ashurst, Emery Down, Lyndhurst, Totton & Eling
Services.
I offer a fun, varied, and stimulating group dog walk with a maximum of 6 dogs.
Each walk lasts for one hour (excluding pick-up, drop-off, and travel time) and takes place in different scenic areas of the New Forest, ensuring your dog gets plenty of mental and physical stimulation.
After the walk, I’ll towel dry your dog before dropping them back home, where I'll settle them in and make sure their water bowl is topped up to keep them refreshed.
Your dog’s well-being is my top priority, and I strive to provide a positive, safe, and enjoyable experience every time with dogs well suited to each other.
I have a few requirements for dogs to join our group walks which are as follows:
Must be well socialised and friendly with other dogs
Must have good recall
Must be well mannered around people and children
I am unable to take on dogs with a high prey drive towards deer and dogs must not like to chase joggers, cyclists etc.
Must be well behaved around livestock
For dogs that prefer not to walk with others or need more individual attention, I offer a one-to-one dog walking service. This tailored service is designed to meet your dog’s unique needs and is especially beneficial for:
Nervous or anxious dogs
Elderly or young dogs
Rescue dogs
Dogs in training or with special requirements
Each walk is a fun, varied, and stimulating walk lasting one hour (excluding pick-up, drop-off, and travel time) in varied locations in the New Forest.
Your dog will be collected, walked, and then towel-dried before being returned home, where I’ll ensure they’re settled in and their water bowl is topped up.
I’m dedicated to providing a positive and safe walking experience that caters to your dog’s individual needs.
Home Visit (Adult Dog/s)
During this visit, I will ensure your dog(s) are well cared for while you’re away. Services include:
Feeding
Toilet break
Enrichment activities and play to keep your dog mentally stimulated
An evening "turn-down" to help your dog stay in their usual routine, allowing them to relax and settle in for the night.
This service helps your dog maintain a sense of normalcy and ensures they receive plenty of attention and care in your absence.
Puppy Visit
For puppies, this visit focuses on building a strong foundation for socialisation and training. I will:
Take your puppy out for a toilet break
Engage in playtime to encourage positive human interaction and social skills
Reinforce training, including recall and basic commands, to support the progress you've already made at home.
This visit provides essential structure and positive reinforcement for your growing puppy, helping them develop good habits and a strong bond with people.
If you're going away and prefer your dog(s) to stay in the comfort of their own home, my dog sitting service is the perfect solution. I will ensure your dog receives plenty of exercise, love, and attention while you’re away, providing peace of mind that they’re well looked after in their familiar environment.
While my pet sitting service is primarily focused on dogs, I’m happy to include your cats and other pets in home visits/drop-ins as part of this service. I have experience with cats, small mammals, reptiles, horses and invertebrates. This allows me to care for all your pets during my visits, giving you one less thing to worry about.
My pet sitting service is offered exclusively to my dog walking and drop-in clients, so this means I can provide more availability and flexibility for you throughout the year.
Within 8 Miles
I offer reliable and safe pet transportation to and from a variety of locations. Whether your pet needs a visit to the vet, a grooming appointment, daycare, or any other destination, I’m here to ensure they get there comfortably and on time. I take extra care to make sure your pet feels safe and secure during the ride, and I can provide regular updates so you stay informed. With flexibility to accommodate your schedule, you can rest easy knowing your pet is in good hands.
Wedding Chaperone
I offer a bespoke dog wedding chaperone service designed to ensure that your furry friend is included in your special day while you can relax and enjoy the celebrations. From walking your dog down the aisle to managing them during the ceremony and reception photos, I take care of all the details. My service includes pre-wedding consultations to tailor everything to your needs so you can rest easy knowing your pet will be safe, pampered, and included in the joy of your big day without the added worry.
